3 Tips to Using As Seen on TV Marketing

After helping thousands of clients all over the world to appear in some of the biggest media outlets in the world, I get the best feeling when I see them using this media power to grow and expand their business. Today I wanted to share 3 quick ways that some of our clients are using their TV credentials, being seen on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX affiliates, to attract more clients into their business.

3 Ways to Use As Seen On TV

1. Our CMO, Greg Rollett was showing me some of the marketing pieces he has been creating for our clients and one that caught my eye was an envelope he was creating for a financial advisor. On the envelope itself was the text, "They Flew Us All Over The Country, Put Us On Camera (and even gave us a Publishing Deal) All To Help You Answer One Question…"

That is a very powerful statement right there and it creates intrigue with the recipient who now needs to rip open the envelope to see the message inside, which of course mentions the TV show and the fact that it is running on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX affiliates across the country to build instant rapport and credibility in the minds of the reader!

2. Right before the holidays one of our clients sent us a nice big box, that they also sent out to their top clients. Inside was a bunch of cookies and brownies along with the DVD of their appearance on one of our TV Shows!

This was a great holiday treat and is a great place to insert this media for your clients to not only watch, but pass onto colleagues as a referral source as well. And the video, being 7-10 minutes long is the perfect length to answer their burning questions about what you do and how you can help them!

3. Some of my favorite stories come from clients who have received even more media because of the media we have gotten for them through our TV programs. And not only do you get the entire 3-day TV experience in Orlando, we also write press releases and syndicate them for you that your episode has run on these 4 major stations.

These press releases get picked up by Google and when reporters are looking for subject matter experts, they can be confident that you can deliver great information since you have been interviewed on tv before!
