As the project leader for FitWebSolutions.com, I get to see a client’s vision for their website go from paper to screen. I assist with everything from new website/blog design and setup to existing website maintenance and upgrades. Each assignment is a new challenge and I enjoy working closely with the clients to complete their project.
In college, I took an HTML/Web Design class; and before I knew it I was hooked! After graduating college with a BS in Computer Information Systems, I knew I was not going to follow in the path of most of my classmates coding in COBOL, Visual Basic, or some other boring language. I needed to see my work jump off the screen, so I started designing websites & print for free (or nearly free). Additionally, I learned everything I could about design principles and web coding. Now, some 15 years later I have successfully completed hundreds of projects and earned just as many repeat customers.
When I’m not busy working, running my 14 yr old son to & from his sporting events, or sending my 20 yr old daughter money at college (when is she graduating again?) you can find me online learning new design techniques, researching new software, or just looking at samples of others work for inspiration.
For years I considered myself a creative person, but not being able to actually paint or draw always put a damper on those feelings. Fortunately I discovered that designing digital & print media could be my artistic outlet.
