Passion + Purpose has given way to Profits for too many …

Thats why many are caught up with ineffective online activities instead of focusing on the fundamentals of good business.

Step 1 is define your ideal vision of how you want your life to look

Step 2 – and a timely reminder Jim – is what is the purpose of your biz – what difference will you make …. what strengths you (personally) bring .. and how this integrates with (1)

then its time for Step 3 and market research – defining your ideal client/market, what people are buying, how much they are spending … etc etc NOT before …

Currently offline for 3 wks now because Spain (Telefonica) is sooooo slow, it´s been useful to reflect on all this recently myself.

    Enjoy your break!

    Hey Jim,
First of all thanks for the birthday sale. I called you earlier to express my gratitude. I have been a six figure trainer for a while and I am very proud to say that. However, getting married and becoming a dad has really changed me. I am no longer the priority. My wife and son mean everything to me. So among my many blessing in life one is that I have built my life around spending more time with them. The result has been a better and more fulfilling life… and believe it or not a better and more productive business. Enjoy vacation.

You hit it on the head J right there at the end. All that I’m currently pursuing is about freedom. Freedom to enjoy life and family more and no longer being bound to the 9to5 slavery or “Rat Race.” Freedom to maximize all that God created me to be and do because at the end of day that’s what it’s all really about. I’ve been following you and others for a while and appreciate your upfront and nonapologetic emails. Inspirational.

Although I don’t know you or any of the other guys personally (Nick, Pat, Zach, Grasso, Boyle, and others) I consider you all part of my mastermind network because you’ve been there and done that and continue paying it forward while living your passion. I’m not much for yapping but I thought I’d speak out from the shadows and give you all props for all that you’re doing for other fitness entrepreneurs and for keeping it real. Blessings to you and your family.

Ultimately, it’s about creating my own schedule. And like you share, Jim, this flexibility allows me to enjoy time with family a great deal. Thanks for the video, hope your vacation is wonderful!

  6. Well said Jim. For the longest time I believed it was all about how much money or how many clients I had, however, my definition has changed over the years and now I look at my business in terms of each trainer I help become better. I might not have the biggest following but if I look at all the trainers and clients I have helped over the years it adds up to a very successful career! Have a great trip and I am off to Sea World with the family!
