Just like the hundreds of unemployed real estate agents working at gas stations and super markets, You will see a shift in any career field that has a high profit potential. Its what happens when people chase money and instant wealth rather than investing, honing and remaining passionate about their business. I will be glad to see the streets get cleaned up in the fitness industry. I think the hard workers deserve the glory.

Pat,
You always give the best information. I agree with your predictions also. I am working hard on trying to get involved with the youth fitness in my area. I will be using many of your ideals for 2010. I need 40 more campers to reach my goal of 100 for 2010.

I agree Jimmy;)

Just met with Curtis Mock and Chris Bachelor from VMG and they are planning on pushing Prograde through all of the clubs they work with.

As we've said all along - it's a no-brainer profit center.

Reality is going to set in on the average trainer. The hobby liked fitness "businesses" will continue to disappear. The best marketers are going to crush their competition.

The ones that consistently reward referrals...deliver great results AND a great experience...the ones that convert the most leads...the ones that dominate the local media...

The cream of the crop ALWAYS rises to the top. The rest are left floundering at the bottom.

Of course I have to add, more and more fitness pros will take advantage of the easy money that comes from being affiliated with Prograde Nutrition. ;-)

Absolutely right about fitness bootcamps...
What will happen is that the tire-kickers will go back to what they were doing before and the fitness pros that are committed to making their bootcamps work will thrive. So don’t expect to be able to launch a camp and have people instantly flock to you – there’s enough competition now that you’ll have to be on top of your game to succeed.

I'm 100% certain that Workout Muse will explode in 2010. Just not sure if it will be the top new trend. Based on the success of the iPhone app it certainly seems possible.

I have a few more predictions that I'll offer up next week too;)
